Our Social and Environmental Responsibility

Community

We are socially active and adopt and improve schools by providing furniture and building tanks for drinking water. We, also, give away our slag (a by product from our factory) for free to villagers for construction and landfilling.

Environment

KSIPL has also been a flag bearer for protection and development of forest and environment and has taken up an pledge and adopted 5 schools to plant 10,000 saplings in Nanjangud and Chamrajnagar district.

Energy

Taking into consideration the power deficit in the state KSIPL has erected 66/11 KVA transformer and reduced draw down transmission loss. Our plant is powered by 75% renewable energy and is operational even in times when there are power cuts.

Water

We are conscious of our environmental footprint and make sure we employ better practices and advanced technology to reduce our water consumption.

Waste

Apex seeks to minimize emission of pollutants by maintaining very tight controls over gaseous, dust and other airborne emissions, as well as liquid effluents that affect the environment.

Reduced Carbon Footprint

It is imperative that our business leaves no stone unturned when it comes to reducing carbon emissions. At Apex, we ensure 5% cost savings and a reduced carbon footprint by sourcing our high quality raw materials locally. This cost advantage is then passed on to our customers; giving them high quality products at friendlier rates.
